Peanut butter is delicious, but did you know it’s also good for you? It is packed with healthy and heart-healthy fats. It’s a great treat that you can indulge yourself without having to feel guilty!

No-Bake Delicious Nut Bites

What do you need:

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled or quick oats
  • 2/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

Put the oats in a blender or food processor. Mix until the oats reach a flour consistency. Add the pb and honey / maple syrup to the blender and mix until the ingredients are well combined. Pour the mixture into a bowl. You may need to scrape the sides of the blender to get all of the mixture.

Shape the “dough” into round bite-size pieces. If they fall apart, return to the blender and add 1 tbsp of pb. If they start to stick to your hands, oil with cooking spray. Serve as is or chilled.

Hassle-free PB bars

What do you need:

For the base

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups pb
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

For garnish

  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of pb

To make the base, combine graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until well combined. Press mixture evenly onto a 9 x 13-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper. Put aside.

To make the filling, add the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave in short bursts of 20 seconds, until smooth. Pour the mixture over the base in the saucepan and smooth with a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until set. Cut into squares and serve!

PB cereal snack

What do you need:

  • 4 cups of plain Cheerios
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine peanut butter and honey in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high power for 1 minute. Stir, add the vanilla extract and heat in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Add cereal to mixture and toss to coat well with mixture. Place portions in a tray lined with parchment paper and wait at least 1 hour for the snack to set.
